UnscramblePro (“we”, “us”, “the service”) is a free online word-solving platform. We are committed to minimizing the personal information we collect and being transparent about how we use what we do collect. This policy describes what information we gather, why we gather it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you.

2. Information we collect

Anonymous usage data: We collect aggregated, anonymous analytics about how the site is used — for example, the number of searches performed, the most common letter combinations, popular tools, and overall traffic patterns. This data is not linked to your name, email, IP address, or any other identifier.

Local storage: For features like the Daily Word Challenge streak, we store your progress locally in your browser using localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Contact form submissions: If you email us or use the contact form, we receive the name, email, and message content you provide. We use this solely to respond to your inquiry and do not add you to any marketing list.

Server logs: Our hosting provider may retain standard server access logs (IP address, request timestamp, user-agent) for a limited period for security and abuse prevention. These logs are not associated with your search activity.

3. How we use information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the service.
• To monitor aggregate traffic and detect abuse or anomalous activity.
• To respond to support and feedback inquiries.
• To develop new features and tools based on aggregate usage patterns.

4. Cookies and advertising

UnscramblePro may display advertising in the future to support development. If and when ads are introduced, we will update this policy to disclose the ad partners involved, the categories of data shared, and how users can opt out of personalized advertising. We will never place ads in the critical search flow between the letter input, the Unscramble button, and the results display.

5. Data retention

Anonymous aggregate analytics are retained indefinitely. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months. Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider's default policy (typically 7–30 days). Local-storage data on your device persists until you clear your browser storage.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you by contacting us at privacy@currencyvision.online. Because we minimize the personal data we collect, most users will not have any personal information on file with us.

7. Children's privacy

UnscramblePro is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, displaying a notice on the homepage.
